A Glimpse at the Class of 2024!

A Glimpse at the Class of 2024!

With every new school year, we say goodbye to a full senior class as they go onto the next step of their lives, and we introduce a new class of freshman starting their High School Career, who are filled with ambition and potential to do great things. As sad as it is to see the seniors go, it is equally exciting to see the new class of freshman coming in. We asked two freshman about their time at ACP so far: Madeline Leger who is part of the Swim team here at ACP, and Logan Hubler who is a part of ACPs football team.

Q. What made you choose ACP-Erie over all the other high schools?

A. I chose ACP because I had previously gone to a small charter school and was frankly quite scared of a big school. ACP is the perfect in-between of a small and large school.

Q. What has been your most memorable moment so far at ACP?

A. So far, my most memorable moment has been joining the swim team. It has been a great way to meet people while doing school virtually.

Q. Do you have any ideas of what you want to be doing past high school and into college?

A. I would like to go to college, but I am quite indecisive on what I want to do or what degree to get.

Q. What is one thing you plan on doing before you graduate from ACP?

A. I plan on joining clubs. I did not join any this year because I was quite nervous about overloading my plate, but looking back, this is the year to start.

Asking Freshman Logan Hubler about how he felt about being apart of the Class of 2024, he expressed his excitement in a few ways.

Q. What made you choose ACP-Erie over all the other high schools?

A. I went to ACP-Oakland, and I enjoyed my time there. I made a lot of friends who are going to ACP-Erie now, and I heard great things about ACP-Erie.

Q. What has been your most memorable moment so far at ACP?

A. My most memorable moment so far has been football practices. I haven’t been able to do much else, so football has been really good for me and keeps me busy outside of school.

Q.Do you have any ideas of what you want to be doing past high school and into college?

A. I know I definitely want to go to college, preferably on a scholarship. However, past that I’m really not sure what I want to do. Hopefully, football and academics can take me somewhere great in life.

Q. What is one thing you want to do before you graduate from ACP? Either academically or with sports?

A. Before I graduate, I want to win a state championship with the football team; I feel we have the ability to make that happen.

The freshman class of 2024 seems like it will do great things here at ACP over the next four years. We are excited to see what comes of it! Remember to Strive for the Impossible, Knights!
