The fourth quarter of every school year is typically congested with standardized and state tests, altered schedules, and oftentimes a concerning amount of stress for some students. Our first week back has been relatively tame, but next week we kick off state testing with freshmen’s ACT Aspire Assessment on April 9th. On Wednesday the 10th, freshmen will begin their second day of the ACT Aspire and juniors will take the AzSCI assessment. On Thursday, April 11th, juniors will begin the ACT while grades. Importantly, lunch will not be provided for grades who have a delayed start, and there is more information on the Knightly update through Infinite Campus.

In the beginning of May, AP testing will begin. The sole reason someone may take an AP class, the AP tests are high-stake exams crucial in earning college credit. They all require hard work and much studying. One can find the dates and times for each test on College Board. After two weeks of AP Testing, students will end their year with more exams, taking their finals over the span of another two weeks. Both the ACT and AP tests may harbor in students doubt and nervousness, but it’s important to think about the benefits of success. Throughout testing weeks, always be sure to strive for the impossible and be extraordinary, Go Knights!
