The Old North State (Yes it’s true),

with a flag with colors of gold, white and blue

ninth most populous of the United States,

its not a bad place to go on a date.

Welcome to North Carolina.

With rolling trees and hills of green

there’s a lot to do, if you know what I mean.

Visit Charlotte or Raleigh as well;

the food is great with the wonderful smells.

Its North Carolina.

With architecture and history galore,

and most of it is right outside your hotel room door.

The Grand Bohemian Hotel downtown,

or the international airport known for it’s crown.

There’s much to do and a ton to see

did I mention the abundance of trees?
