Springing Into Spring Sports
With warmer weather slowly starting to settle in, ACP’s spring sports are starting up again and prepping for their games. From volleyball to tennis, all of our athletes are super excited for the new season and what it’ll have to offer.
Varsity Boys Volleyball athlete John Kanner (11) commented that one of the boys’ goals this season is to reach the State
Championship while having fun.
Sophomore Aahana Dugar, when asked about her tennis team’s goals, responded that they hope to make the school more aware of the sport and to involve more students. She continued, saying that “we also want to become stronger as a team, so to accomplish that, we’re practicing team-building activities as well.”
Tej Patel, an avid golf player, announced that the co-ed golf team is working harder than ever, and that we can definitely expect some superb scores at the State Championship.
As for our Varsity Girls Track, junior Sam Rojas voiced the girls’ excitement over State, overcoming personal records, team bonding, and the aspects of trying out a new sport.
Besides the aforementioned sports, Varsity Girls Beach Volleyball, Junior Varsity Boys Volleyball, Varsity Boys Track, Varsity Boys Track, and Varsity Boys Tennis are also included in the group of spring sports.
On the behalf of my staff writers, we wish you a wonderful season and only the best as you strive for the impossible, and be extraordinary.
