After only four weeks into the school year, students are recognizing some new faces to ACP’s staff. One of them is Ms. Ashley Williams. The subject she teaches are American Sign Language 1,2,3, & 4 and Varsity Locker; she is a busy woman! This is her first year here at ACP so let us all give a huge and warm welcome to her.

To start off, I asked Ms. Williams to share her thoughts about her interests and how she feels about ACP:

I am from Washington State!

What are your interests and like to do for fun?

I love sign language, playing volleyball and board games!

What university did you attend?

Central Washington University

When did you learn American Sign Language?

I started taking American Sign Language classes when I was 13-years-old.

What inspired you to become a teacher?

I use to be an educational interpreter and loved being around kids so much I switched over to teaching.

Why did you decide to work at ACP?

I heard so many great things about this school; I didn’t want to pass up the opportunity.
