Photography and film are both large parts of the world of modern art, and while our school does offer film and photo classes, many students want to do more. Luckily, our amazing school offers the Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSO) Club. Recently we attended one of their meetings to learn more about it and why the club was made.

The club meets every other week during Club Time According to the club advisor, Mr. Lindstrom, the club is made to allow film and photography students to do more. The plan for the club is doing events like field trips to local landmarks to shoot photos, or going to a film festival to see the creative works of other photographers. I think this club is a great idea, as it allows the people who are passionate about film and photography to do more with their high school experience and ensures that everyone plays an important role in the club. This club is a great idea, and if you want to join next year, you too can explore the world of art even further. Go Knights!
