ACP Track Passes the Final Baton
The ACP Track team is not only one of the fastest teams on our campus; they’re one of the strongest. Completing the season on a high note, the team took the state track meet by storm. Here are the following achievements for the team at their state competition:
State Track Highlights
- The boys 4×400 relay blazed their way to a 3rd-place finish with another school record, by smashing their previous record by four seconds and qualifying for state with a 3:27.67.
- Special commendations are necessary for Conner Dosmann, who brought home the bronze medal in the 800-meter run with a 1:58.7.
- Evie Jimenez led the girls team with an 8th place finish in the 800-meter run, leading to a broken school record.
- The girls 4×800 relay team broke the school record by over 20 seconds and placed 9th in the meet. Congratulations to the entire team for their successes this season!
- Joel Diaz broke the previous 200m record with a 22.88 to round off his phenomenal season in singles events.
Placing in the top 50th percentile in every invite and meet of their season, the team continued to represent ACP tenacity and power on the track. The Track and Field team managed to break four records on a single day this season, only serving as a testament to their passion and dedication to the sport.
The ACP Track Team sent off their seniors with a flurry of new records and amazing placements in their invites. The following seniors have led the track team to greatness with the end of their season. Thank you to the following seniors:
