What to do During Fall Break
Fall break. That sweet bliss of stress-free, homework-free vacation. Two weeks to do almost whatever we want, whenever we want.
However, there are times that we just sit at home, unsure of what to do with this mass amount of open time. We’re so used to racking our brains with math problems, history projects, and English presentations. So what do I do now?
My first piece of advice: sleep up! Take advantage of this amount of time to catch up on the missed hours from the countless amount of homework and studying. Sleep is super important, and not to mention pretty fun.
I would also recommend spending time with some friends because these moments in high school are short. Be sure to go to the mall, go watch a movie, even sit in silence at each other’s house (it’s more fun than you think).
There are also endless amount of fall attractions to see and do: go to the fall festival at Schnepf Farms or The Arizona Harvest Festival. Maybe go pumpkin picking; it’s never to early to get ready for Halloween, AKA the best holiday ever.
As for regular fun activities, try camping, hiking, bowling, mini golf, the list goes on and on. And the best part is, the weather is actually decent at this time of year! To avoid spending money, invite a group of friends over for a movie night or wander aimlessly around the mall.
So Knights, be safe and most importantly, have fun during your fall break!
