Springing into April

April, in other parts of the country, is the rainy season, which is followed by sprouting flowers in May. While living in Arizona, we don’t often get to experience the drastic rainfall, so instead, we spend or time outdoors at music festivals, soaking in the sun at water parks, and even at different sports games. This year is no different. Below is a short list of different events that will take place this month.

1. Phoenix Lights Festival

This music festival takes place on Friday April 5 through Saturday April 6. Many different artists will be featured, including but not limited to: Big Gigantic, Blosson, Arty, A$AP Ferg, Claude VonStroke, Decadon, Excision, GRiZ.

2. Festival of Wonder

This festival is sure to highlight the different parts of our world and will wow you with their extravagant tastes and sights. The Festival of Wonder is a three-week festival starting April 10 and ending on April 28.

  1. Phoenix Suns vs. Cleveland Cavaliers

Are you an avid basketball fan and want to see our home team compete at the Talking Stick Resort?  Well, you’re in luck! On April 1, the Phoenix Suns will face off against the Cleveland Cavaliers at 7 pm. Make sure to buy your tickets today!

Also, ACP has many school-wide events that are fun for all grades! One of these events is the annual International Knights Festival. This festival showcases different countries and their cultural diversities. For more information regarding this festival, make sure to check out the wonderful article Solika Nhean, our Co-Editor, write by clicking: https://acpknighttimes.com/4526/showcase/celebrating-diversity-with-the-international-knights-festival/. Prom is also only a week away! This dance is open to all sophomores through seniors, with PROM king and queen nominations eligible to all juniors and seniors.

Knights, April is full of new perspectives and events that will aid our community, in and out of the school.
