Capturing the Moment with Photography Club
If you’ve ever felt self-conscious sharing grainy, discolored photos with the wrong filter, ACP Erie finally has the solution. The photography club is one of the hottest clubs to make its way across campus this year! The club’s very own Katarina Marceta (pictured left) gave insight to everything you need to know so you can start taking some classy photos yourself. Here’s what Katarina had to say about the club:
Q: Why should people join photography club?
A: Photography club is a club where you can be creative and you can learn how to use cameras properly!
Q: When/Where is the club?
A: The club will most likely be Wednesdays during club time, and the location, based on the number of club members, will either be in Mr. Tyler’s room or the library.
Q: How do you like photography club so far?
A: Well, I love photography, so this is a way to share my creativity with my peers without a formal class!
Photography club is all about creativity – not only taking photos, but knowing what makes them appeal to the viewer. Aspiring artists can learn photography tricks from the very best on campus, headed by the ever-creative Mr. Tyler, and find your true abilities in an Instagram aesthetic-photo page. Anyone interested should drop by room M3, during club time on Wednesdays (though this may be liable to change!) For any questions concerning the club, find Mr. Tyler at any point of the day – he would be more than happy to help out! Let your inner creator show through your photos, because as the great Russell Simmons once said, “Art is a way to express yourself and through that you can escape a bad situation.”
