The year of 2021 has been filled with ups and downs, lows and highs, and sometimes, everything in the middle combined into one huge mess. For many of us, 2021 has been a year of celebration as it was a return from the havoc that COVID-19 has brought upon us, but for others, this year has been a time of sorrow, as that same return brought challenges that seemed impossible to overcome. But, we did it, you did it! You survived this year.

This year, we had many wonderful events and activities that were either hosted at school or other places, such as Homecoming, Winter Formal, sports games, fundraisers, and many more. One very fun event that we had this school year is the pool party at Hamilton High School to kick-start our year and was a great way to begin the school year with pool-time activities and great food hosted by our Booster Club! Also, our wonderful sports teams such as football, soccer, track, basketball, and more did made our school proud as they put their heart and soul into each game, whether it was on the court, field, track, or in the pool. Great job, Knights!

While there were some adjustments with the new campus and influx of students, you all did great adapting to new changes and new people while continuing to keep the same family culture and climate we had at Erie.

As we head into the second half of the school year, be sure to always strive for the impossible and continue to be extraordinary.
