Despite being here for three years, it feels like my first week at ACP. Sure, I’ve done a lot here, being an experienced swimmer, settling into my lifestyle as a firm sweater wearer, and amassing a long list of silly injuries. My first love is informative writing (a one-sided relationship if there ever was one), despite not having much time to write for fun – until now! Of course, I have other interests and favorites: the Hobbit series, my friends, cheap coffee, and any sport that isn’t as complex as Croquet (seriously, how do you play that?!). Growing up in a strong politically-bound family, it’s fair to assume that a break from the monotony of politics was a good idea. My goal is to help this newspaper make you smile because this year is going to be great!
