Hello, my name is Richie Williams. I am a senior at Arizona College Prep Erie and this is my second year here. I’m relatively always the new kid, as this is my 3rd transfer in my high school career. Previously, I attended Chandler High School my freshman year and Brophy College Prep my sophomore year. During my time in high school, I’ve dedicated a majority of my time to sports, consisting of track and field as a javelin thrower and football (playing primarily running back and linebacker positions). I’m looking to further extend my academic and athletic career into college in hopes of pursing a degree in the medical field. With a family history in the medical expertise, I’ve taken a strong liking to sports medicine and physical therapy and look to pursue a career in either.
Outside of school, I use my free time to relax and engage in hobbies that consist of gaming, cooking, binge-watching entire Netflix series, and sleeping. I also tend to immerse myself in music with a taste ranging from the classic Frank Sinatra to modern-day rappers such as J. Cole and YBN Cordae.
In all, I try to keep a balance in my life with very simple hobbies in my off time as I lead a rigorous and chaotic academic and athletic career. Hopefully, when it's all said and done, I will graduate a better man than I am today.
