Hello,
I am Megan Khatri, a freshman from the class of 2026. I have dabbled in creative writing before, but this is the first time that I am part of a Newspaper team. I moved to Arizona from Oregon four years ago, and one of the things I miss the most is the snowy winters of Portland. I love painting, listening to music, baking, and shopping. My favorite song is Wasted On You by Morgan Wallen. I enjoy travelling. Some of my most memorable trips are California; Cancun; and India. I have two siblings, twin younger brothers. With them around, there is never a dull moment in my day. I enjoy tutoring them and telling them stories from my day at school. I am not a diehard athlete, but I enjoy playing basketball; tennis; and going swimming. High school seems to have started out well. I feel like there is something for everyone to like and pursue here. So far it has been an amazing experience working under Mrs. Patterson’s guidance, and I look forward to an exciting year of writing, editing, and making the cut. :)
