Auri Smith, Staff Writer
I am Auri Smith from the class of 2027. I am extremely enthusiastic about being part of the ACP family and even more a part of the newspaper team. I am originally from Texas, but I have also called Mexico City and a beach in Mexico my home at one point. My family includes my younger brother, two hard working parents, and two energetic dogs. I have been settled down in Arizona for almost six years now. I love Arizona; however, I wish we had more rain. As for when I’m not writing, I love to bake, spend time with my friends and family, and volunteer at my church. I also love to listen to music. If I had to pick my favorite genre of music, it would be Alternative. Some of my favorite TV shows are Gilmore Girls, Grey’s Anatomy, and The Summer I Turned Pretty. My favorite author is Jenny Han because her books always keep you on your toes. Something unique about me is that I am bilingual. I’ve always wanted to visit Australia to learn how to surf. At ACP, I am excited about going to football games and joining several clubs. I cannot wait to write articles about our fantastic school!
