Each October, ACP’s girls volleyball team hosts their annual Dig Pink Volleyball Fundraiser to raise money and awareness for breast cancer. With the delay in events due to Covid-19, Dig Pink has been pushed to Tuesday, November 3rd- tonight!

Dig Pink has been at ACP for several years now; Knights have dressed out in all pink for the event and flocked to the gym for the spirited and earnest volleyball match after school.

Last year’s ACPVB (ACP Volleyball) raised $7,300, only $700 shy of their goal of $8,000. This year, the team aims to also reach $8,000.

Our volleyball girls have already collected donations for the event, 100% of which is being donated to the Side-Out Foundation, with which ACP has partnered with in the past in order to raise money for the Foundation’s Stage IV breast cancer research.

On Tuesday, students are allowed to wear free dress for $2 (all proceeds go to the Side-Out Foundation). The volleyball game tonight is Pink Out (dress in pink!) Junior Varsity B team plays at 4 P.M. and Junior Varsity A team plays at 5 P.M. The Varsity Girls play Parker High at 6 P.M. in ACP’s gym TONIGHT!

Limited-edition ACP Volleyball masks will be on sale at the game for $8 (you can also purchase some at any at-home game, from a player, or direct message the ACP Volleyball Instagram). Stickers are on sale for $2 and t-shirts can be bought for $15.

Last year, seniors Julia Golichowski, Krista Rowan, and Tendall Weigand led the team to a 3-0 victory (winning the first set 25-23 and the second and third set 25-16 each). Support your girls’ volleyball team, Knights, and donate to Dig Pink and attend the game tonight! To our girls: good luck tonight and don’t forget to do what you do best: be extraordinary.
