A Change of Places In Our Knight Family
This year, our school is having an old friend, who we all know, that will be teaching a new class this year: choir. Here is what Mr. Holley shared with us.
Q: What do you like to do in your free time? Do you get to do this activity often or do you only get to do this on rare occasions?
A: I enjoy day hiking. I have been able to get out more recently with the temperatures lowering. I enjoy going out early in the morning because it’s cooler and the view is gorgeous.
Q:What’s your favorite Halloween movie? If you don’t have one, what’s your favorite move in general?
A: The Nightmare Before Christmas. It’s a classic and it makes me feel at home every time I watch it. The stop-motion movie has surpassed all other classics in my heart and it I will forever treasure it.
3. What was your first impression of ACP? This involves the students, staff, the building, etc.
A: Kind, courteous, and respectful students. I was shocked and impressed that students would open doors for teachers. They’re very sweet and hardworking, too. The building is built in a somewhat organized manner and it doesn’t take that long to get used to. My experience here at ACP has been amazing so far, and I can’t wait for another year to teach here.
Q: How many years have you been teaching?
A: 13 years
Q: If you got the chance to have a superpower for five minutes, which superpower would you want?
A: Flying because I can go to places quickly. Also, it’s really fun being up in the air and looking down on Earth.
It’s not so bad to have change once in a while, even if it’s minor. Though Mr. Holley is someone who most of us are familiar with, it’s only suitable that there is a little bit of change in ACPE to match with the drastic transformations that the outside world is going through.
