The Online College Fair: Considering Your Future
Starting this week, Knights, you can participate in this year’s College Fair on a virtual level to get information on hundreds of colleges around the country. This is a great opportunity to get familiarized with colleges and start thinking about what career paths you may be looking to pursue. If you plan on staying in Arizona for college and attending one of the big three (ASU,UOA, NAU), then you will want to focus on the tri-university week; the three big state universities are all coming together to ensure you are well informed about the programs they offer. There is also an opportunity to explore the NACAC College Fair, which has more than 600 Colleges online to connect with you, and with 600 colleges to choose from, there is most definitely something to be found for everyone!
Then you can start the “Exploring College Options”, which is led by the undergraduate program of five of the countries leading College Programs (Duke, Georgetown, Harvard, Stanford, and the University of Pennsylvania.) The last opportunity to learn about colleges during the college fair is the HBCU Fair, which will focus on college resources, and workshops and is completely free to take part in.
Even if you have little to no idea what lies ahead of you after high school, this is a fantastic way to get introduced to the skills and resources needed for having a successful transition from high school to college. Take advantage of the virtual college fair during your downtime Knights! Remember to Strive for the Impossible!
