Now we all know that 2020 has been a crazy year! With all the complications this year has presented, we all  had to make sacrifices along the way.  Some of these adjustments have expanded ACP’s faculty.  Mrs. Lee is one of the new additions to our family;  she is the American/Arizona & AP World history teacher. Though this may be her first year at ACP, expectations are still set high. She expects dedication from all the students even if history might not be your strong point- you have to try. These two classes she teaches offer discipline and teaches us about our world. People have already taking a liking toward our new teacher and describe her as kind and compassionate.

Q: How long have you been teaching?

A: I have been teaching for six years!

Q: Where did you go to college?

A: I went to college at ASU and received my bachelors at GCU.

Q: What is your educational philosophy?

A: I believe that it is my responsibility as a teacher to bring out the very best in each and every one of my students. As a teacher, I believe in helping each student realize their worth and help them realize the potential they have. We are the ones in their corner at all times, and we should never give up on them and the journey they are taking to become the people they are meant to be.

Q: What are you looking forward to at ACP?

A:  I am so excited to be a part of such a wonderful campus and even more excited for the year to come! Teaching is, and always has been, my passion, and my love for this career and the opportunities it brings only grows from year to year. I am here to help my students to be the best versions of themselves and to help them reach their potential. I look forward to an amazing school year!

As we can see Mrs. Lee is a hard worker who loves her job and is doing everything that is possible to create a new enriched learning environment for the students. Even through these crazy times, she is still being organized and calm to ensure a new normal. Thank you Mrs. Lee for making sure all of our students feel welcome here at ACP! Go Knights!
