This week, ACP students will be thrown back in time to the Golden Age of Hollywood with some pre-Homecoming festivities! Here are some more details about these upcoming events, including our Homecoming Carnival, Homecoming Game, and Homecoming Dance.

Spirit Week

Monday, September 16 – Monochrome Monday

Friday, September 20 – Red Carpet Friday

Make sure that you participate in the glitz and glam of this week’s spirit days. Monochrome Monday brings us back to the days of black-and-white silent films. On Animated Tuesday, we’ll be paying tribute to some classic animated films, so come to school dressed as one of your favorite cartoon characters. For Boujee Wednesday, wear your name-brand items and model the glamour of Old Hollywood. On Thursday, take your pick: say “Yee-haw!” as a cowboy or infiltrate the school in your finest alien attire. Homecoming Carnival

On Thursday, September 19th, head to the east field at ACP-Erie from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. for our Homecoming Carnival. Attendance is free, but remember to bring some extra cash if you would like to buy a treat from one of the food trucks. At the carnival, there will be rides, games, and a teacher dunk tank featuring Mr. May, Mrs. Berger, Mr. Fraser, Mr. Montano, Mr. Lindstrom, and Mr. Johnson. Stop by for some pre-Homecoming excitement!

Homecoming Football Game

On Friday, September 20th, ACP’s Varsity Football team will be facing off against the Chino Valley Cougars. The game will take place at Perry High School and will begin at 7:00 p.m. Wear all red to the game to cheer on our ACP Knights! As well, don’t miss out on the crowning of this year’s Homecoming Royalty during halftime. Throughout the game, our band, cheer, and dance teams will support the team with music and uplifting cheers.

Homecoming Dance

Homecoming tickets are now on sale at the bookstore! If you have an activity card, homecoming tickets are free. Without an activity card, tickets are $20 before Homecoming and $25 at the door. Homecoming will be this Saturday, September 21st at the ACP-Erie gymnasium from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m.

Spend a night in the spotlight at this year’s Homecoming Dance! This week’s exciting events, including the carnival and football game, are the perfect opportunity to spend time with friends and appreciate the allures of Old Hollywood!
