How to Survive the AP Exams

With this week marking the second week of AP exams, many students are starting to feel overwhelmed with the many errands they have on their plate. During times like these, its important to remember to breath and have a positive mindset. To help you out, here are a couple of tips on how to survive AP Exams.

  • Take breaks. Taking 15 minute breaks in between studying won’t hurt you but has been known to help a lot. It gives your brain time to relax and take in all of the information you just tried cramming in.
  • Eat!! Eating and staying hydrated is a must. It’ll give you the energy you need to get through three hours (or more) of testing.
  • Don’t cram the night before. Cramming will do absolutely nothing and might even warrant you to forget everything you know. Instead, study for a bit and then go to bed early and get a good night’s rest (or at least try to but you’ll probably end up staring at your bedroom ceiling in complete darkness).
  • Be organized. Dividing up your studying in small bits will make it easier for you to focus and concentrate. Knowing where all of your studying necessities are located will also save time.
  • Stay positive. Keep in mind that a test score doesn’t define whether you’re smart or not.
