Teacher Appreciation Week
The prestige of a successful high school is only as strong as the faculty members that support it. From Monday, May 6, to Friday, May 10, our ACP Knights will have the chance to thank our faculty and educators for the work that they do to help us succeed. From being our standardized testing proctors to motivators and supporters, our ACP teachers continue to surpass the standards set by the American school system. In honor of the Teacher Appreciation Week, here are some tips and ideas to say thank you to those that have helped you become the student you are today!

- Deliver letters of appreciation to your teachers
- Create an artistic piece to represent appreciation for your teachers
- Thank your teachers for their service
- Decorate classrooms and doors
- Surprise your teacher with a gift card or their favorite item
- Volunteer in classrooms to help teachers
- Have your class sign a card to thank your teacher
- Get them a large cup of coffee, because we all know they need it

Local Discounts
Chipotle
From 3 p.m. to close on Tuesday, teachers who show their faculty ID, can get a buy-one-get-one-free burrito, bowl, salad, or order of tacos at Chipotle restaurants. Visit Chipotle’s website to find a restaurant near you.
Chick-fil-A
Participating restaurants are offering teachers a free sandwich from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday. Check your local Chick-fil-A to see what they’re providing. Teacher ID required.
Sauce Pizza & Wine
To say thank you for making a positive difference every day, Sauce Pizza & Wine is offering 15 percent off for all teachers, school staff and faculty. Teachers are invited to celebrate their hard work with a pizza, salad, glass of wine or even a pizza cookie at Sauce. This deal will be offered at all Tucson locations from May 6 to May 10.

Teacher appreciation week highlights the important role that teachers have on our society, but that doesn’t mean you should limit appreciation to just five days. Acknowledging the positive impact of your teachers throughout the year will always be appreciated! Thank you to all of our fantastic ACP teachers!
