ACP’s Last Blood Drive of the Year
In the past, ACP has participated in blood drives with the Red Cross, and the turnouts have been extraordinary! Keeping this tradition alive, ACP will be participating in the last blood drive of the year this Tuesday. ACP still needs your help to fill up all the slots and help those who need it most.
Blood drives are an effortless and convenient way to help those who in need. As of now, many hospitals have only a 3-day supply of most products and blood types, and they are being distributed more than supplied, which will eventually lead to a shortage of much needed supplies. By participating in this blood drive, you will take part in the donation of potentially life-saving supplies for those in the hospital. Not only will you be helping those in the community, but you will also raise awareness of participating in school-wide events, such as the many blood drives.
ACP’s blood drive will take place Tuesday from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM. We still need spots to be filled, so if you or a friend are interested in helping our community trough a blood donation, schedule an appointment at redcrossblood.org and use the Sponsor Code ACPERIE. You may also schedule an appointment by calling the number: 1-800-RED-CROSS.
Over the years, ACP has been involved in many Red Cross blood drives, all which have been very successful. Our students have continued to exceed the expectations and selflessly donate much needed blood to our hospitals.
For more information regarding the blood drive, speak to Iman Khan, president of the Red Cross Club, or Mr. J.
Knights, make sure to go out and donate!
