Leave the Window Open

Leave the window open

In case a wind might drop by
To hug the ink-pressed papers
And set them to soar up high

Leave the window open
Haunted souls wander about
Among this house of regrets
A chance angels might come out

Leave the window open
The skies might just cry
And let their Spring tears
Wash away each broken lie

Leave the window open
For soon it will say
A window that is closed
Chains you forever in dismay
