During the last few weeks of school, I felt like the days were dragging on and finals were creeping in much too close for my comfort; however, after ACP’s fantastic Winter Break, I feel like I am ready to take on the world! Knights, this is our second semester of the 2018-2019 school year, meaning this is our last semester before summer vacation! Traditionally, this semester seems to fly by for me, because with all the AP Tests, long weekends, and preparation for finals, quarter three and quarter four are gone within the blink of an eye.

This semester holds a lot of opportunities for ACP’s student body. Similar to ACP’s other quarters, quarter three and four are filled with many entertaining activities. Some of these activities include: ACP’s annual International Knight’s Festival; MORP, which is an annual dance that is open to all students in high school; PROM, which is a dance that allows only upper-classmen to attend; many sports games, including wrestling meets, volleyball games, tennis matches, softball games, track meets, and golf matches; and so much more!

Knights, are you looking for some volunteer opportunities this semester? Well, ACP offers many in-school hour opportunities, including an opportunity to volunteer at the International Knight’s Festival. For more information about this opportunity, contact Ms. Lindstrom, who helped create this annual festival.

I’m not sure about you, but I feel like this semester is filled with so many opportunities for success, such as tutoring opportunities to improve grades and volunteer hours that will help with scholarships, and how could I pass these up? Not only are there opportunities for success, but this semester also includes many sporting events, which are great ways to meet with friends, have a night full of school spirit, and even meet new people! Knights, I encourage you all to make the most of this semester and celebrate the new year by making the most of all the opportunities ACP generously give our student body.
