College Visit: Bryant University

College Visit: Bryant University

College. The next big and scary step into adulthood as we come to the end of our high-school careers. It has always seemed like it would never truly be here, graduation that is. Now that applying for applications is a daily ritual, I can see now that this next adventure is only the blink of an eye away.

For many of students, there is always the big question of “where am I going to go?” or “what is the best school for me?” Well, the great part about those questions is that Mrs. Dalton and the College and Career Center are always giving us that helping hand by introducing us to the next best college.

This week, many of us were introduced to Bryant University for the first time. For those of you who do not know, Bryant University is located in Smithfield, Rhode Island. This private university has two colleges: The College of Arts and Science, and The College of Business.  These are internationally accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges and the AACSB International.

In the visit, students were able to learn more about the campus itself, the academics, the rigor, and the tuition. As for tuition, it varies immensely based on the meal plan chosen, type of room to reside in, as well as class fees. Overall, the average tuition rate is about $40,000 per year with an acceptance rate of 72.3%.

Though Bryant may only have two colleges, with its high accreditation and well-known academics, it is certainly a college to consider attending. If you have any other questions about Bryant and what it has to offer, be sure to see Mrs. Dalton in the College and Career Center!
