Meet One of ACP’s Newest Juniors: Jake Newman
As our school continuously grows, more and more students seem to be flooding through our gates. I had the opportunity to meet many new people this year, one of them being Jake Newman, current junior. I met Jake through ACP’s varsity swim team, and in an interview, he introduced himself and explained who he really is.
Q: What is your name and what grade are you in?
A: My name is Jake and I’m in 11th grade.
Q: Why did you come to ACP?
A: I came to ACP to challenge myself academically in order for me to prepare for college.
Q: What has been your favorite part of ACP so far?
A: My favorite part of ACP are the students. Everyone is so nice and friendly.
Q: How long have you been swimming?
A: I have been swimming since freshman year.
Q: If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why?
A: I would travel to the Galápagos Islands to see all of the cool animals and wildlife that live there.
Q: If you could give any advice to your past self, what would it be?
A: I would tell my past self to “do what is right and what could benefit you in the future.”
Welcome to the family, Jake! We hope you have an amazing year and make some unforgettable memories before your senior year.
