College. It seems like it’s still so far away, but these 11 months that lead up to that moment are going to disappear in the blink of an eye. Because of how fast this time will surely go, it is imperative that all you seniors look into colleges, and even some brand new ones. After all, there are so many colleges out there and the best one for you may be one you’ve never heard of before.

One great way to learn about the colleges to consider is by attending a college fair! This month, there are two extremely huge college fairs that I would definitely recommend attending.

The first is this Thursday, August 16th where you can learn all there is to know about UofA, ASU, and NAU at the Tri-University College Fair for those who are considering staying in state. This fair begins at 6:00 pm (doors open at 5:30) and goes until 8:30 pm and it is located at the Chandler Center for the Arts (250 N Arizona Ave, Chandler, AZ 85225). This event will discuss admissions, financial aid, housing, and three presentations from each university, so make sure you check this one out!

The next fair is the Coast to Coast College Tour where representatives from some of the nation’s most well-known colleges will be in town to discuss their campus which includes, but is not limited to, Dartmouth College, Princeton University, and University of California, Berkeley. This event is occurring on Thursday, August 30th beginning at 7:00 pm at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Phoenix Tempe (2100 South Priest Drive, Tempe, AZ 85282).
