2022 City Art Contest

Coming up very soon there will be a great opportunity for artists and people who have a passion to do something creative. The city of Chandler Major’s office has announced the very exciting arrival of the 2022 State of the City Arts Contest. This event is for people to showcase their skills and creativity in a very fun and engaging way. This art contest includes cash scholarships for the winners, which are so great. Art can be submitted by drawings, paintings, or digital.

Submissions are due on February 4, 2022, so if you are deciding on entering the competition, you still have plenty of time. A great aspect about this competition is that the winners will have their art displayed at the Chandler Center for the Arts. This year’s theme for the contest is “What does Chandler look like through your eyes?”. If you are an artist or someone who wants to get into creating art, then I highly encourage you to submit your work and give the competition a shot; you never know what could happen.

If you win, your artwork will be displayed at the 2022 State of the City on February, 17. The voting will be held from February 8th to the 15th, and the winners will be announced on the 17th. If you want to know more about the contest like how to sign up and just more information in general, go to the Knightly update where there is a link that will lead you to more information. This contest is a great chance to put your work on display because I’m sure that you are proud of it and want other people to be, too.

There are so many inspirational, creative people at ACP, and I know that this State of the City Art Contest will be a perfect fit for you. Even if you don’t win it will still be a fun experience to get to collaborate with other artists and get feedback on your work. Everyone should definitely think about trying this contest out because it’s always good to step out of your comfort zone and try something new. All you have to do is believe yourself Knights, and as always, strive for the impossible and be extraordinary.
