Winter Sports Assembly

Now that we have gone back to school there is much to do and very important things coming up, such as Winter Sports. Since we are just getting settled from being on break we had a Winter Sports Assembly on Friday, January 7 to introduce our amazing winter athletes. Trying out for a sport is a great way to get back into the groove of things and find a new hobby that you could be really good at.

A few of the highlights of the winter sports assembly were playing fun games where teachers challenged students in musical chairs. Battling other grades for the title of loudest grade enabled our seniors to keep the championship, and we honored our annual AAA Award Winners. We even enjoyed a fun magical show put on by two of our Knights.

The assembly introduced the great sports that we have coming up but was also a fun and interactive pep assembly with lots of school spirit. There are many sports that you can try out for and see if you like them. You never know what you can and cannot do until you put your best foot forward and try your best. It was really awesome getting to see all my favorite teachers, peers, and staff at the assembly after not seeing them since prior to winter break.

Overall, the assembly was an amazing experience filled with school spirit chants, information about sports and other activities, laughter, and much-needed time with friends. This was our very first pep assembly after getting back from break so it was a great one! As always Knights, Strive for the impossible and be extraordinary!
