Get To Know Mrs. McClure!
Mrs. Jaime McClure is the assistant principal here at ACP Erie and is focused on making sure all students are persevering in their schoolwork and doing everything they can to reach their dream careers and schools. Not only does she encourage students to succeed through dedication and hard work, but she also treats everyone with utmost respect and kindness. I was able to ask Mrs. McClure a couple of questions, so we can all get to know her better.
Q: What is your favorite thing about your career?
A: Knowing that I can make a positive impact on a student/and or teacher.
Q: What is your proudest accomplishment?
A: I raised an amazing daughter who is doing great things.
Q: If you could choose to do anything for a day, what would it be?
A: Definitely spend the day at the beach listening to the waves. The beach is probably my favorite place.
Q: What are some things you are looking forward to at the new campus?
A: I am so excited to have all the new facilities to give our students the same opportunities as other high school students in Chandler including a performing arts center, CTE classrooms, new labs, and new fields. It’s going to be awesome!
Q: What were you like in high school?
A: I played volleyball and was in yearbook. I was social and loved being with my friends.
Q: What do you like to do during your free time?
A: I love to spend time with my family. I also love to be at home with my dogs and binge-watching shows.
Q: What is your favorite movie and why?
A: I don’t know if I specifically have a favorite movie, but I love a good chick flick. One that is predictable, mindless, and funny.
Q: What three items would you take with you on a deserted island?
A: A pot to cook with, a journal/pen, and a blanket.
Q: Who is your hero/someone you look up to you?
A: My dad…he is the first one in his family to graduate from college.
Q: What is one quote you live by?
A: It’s a good day to have a good day.
Thank you so much, Mrs. McClure, for your endless support and care for all the students at ACP. We appreciate your commitment and enthusiasm. Go, Knights!
