Dallin Brady and Project Impact

Dallin Brady and Project Impact

Here at ACP, we take pride in the wide array of clubs we have: the Knights have a club for almost anything. With new clubs being formed regularly, we like to show off our new additions and give them extra attention. That being said, Project Impact is a newer club here at ACP, started by Dallin Brady, and is about giving back to the community and making an impact. We reached out to Dallin to ask him about the club and his story. This is what he said,

“Project Impact was started a couple of months ago as an idea. If I’m being honest, not too many clubs grabbed my attention; I really wanted something different, something unique. I have always gone out and volunteered at different food banks, nonprofits, ever since I was super young, so I knew what I was getting myself into. I really wanted to provide students with space where they could make a difference in their communities, where they can meet other students who are passionate about the same things as they are. What I really want Project Impact to accomplish is bringing students together in the pursuit of bringing constant change to our communities. There are a lot of needs in the East Valley and Phoenix, more than I anticipated. If I can get students to recognize those needs and act on them, that is all the difference. I know a lot of students may feel that they can’t do much other than going to different food pantries and volunteer. I want to empower students, to let them know that they are difference makers, that they can have a huge impact. It’s kind of my unwritten rule, to leave somewhere better than you found it. Whether that’s giving a friendly smile, helping someone you don’t know, volunteering, any difference is a big difference. This is how I believe students can make a difference.”

It is great to hear the drive and passion that Dallin has for this club and what it is doing for the community. Knights, if you are interested in joining this club, just find Dallin at school. Stay safe Knights, remember to strive for the impossible, and be extraordinary!
