Some families traditionally eat dinners such as these on Thanksgiving.

As we near the end of the year, our attention tends to shift towards the holiday season and closing out the year on a good note. However, it’s 2020 and that means absolutely nothing is as it seems and that means adapting to the times around us. That being said, with Thanksgiving right around the corner, it is going to be a very different experience. We have thought of some interesting ideas of activities you could do to pass the time at home instead of going out and enjoying the day.

The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

While this seems like a Thanksgiving day tradition in the eyes of many Americans, it is not going to be the same this year. Watching it on TV no doubt does not give the same experience as standing in the audience watching the floats driving down the New York City streets.

Go on a Nature Walk

Depending on where you live, it is a perfect time of year to head outside and experience all that nature has to offer. With the social distancing rules feeling somewhat of the norm these days, it should be a perfect time to spend alone time with the great outdoors.

Eat lots of Food

It’s Thanksgiving, the holiday started with a feast of food, what better way to embrace that other than by eating

copious amounts of food with your family? Whether it’s the traditional Thanksgiving food or your own family twist, embrace the holiday with a feast with friends.

Thanksgiving day Football Game

The Thanksgiving day Football Game is one of the most watched football games of the year, America’s sport being played on a holiday where lots of people are at home. With the dedication some people have to the sport of football, it is quite remarkable, and experiencing it for yourself for the first time can be quite memorable.

Those are just some ideas of things you can do this Thanksgiving with the changes to what can or can’t be done. Have a safe Thanksgiving Knights! Remember to Strive for the Impossible and be Extraordinary!
